For people interested in doing this one - Section hair into four sections with hair divided period style down the middle. Roll sides slightly then start herringbone braid. Repeat on opposite side. Again herringbone braids on two bottoms wind into two buns secure with a package of long bobby pins.
Add decorative pearl bobby pins and voila.
I know for me every ball I think, "Oh, shoot, what am I going to do with the fluff this time?" So hopefully this is inspiring to someone else who needs ideas for what to do with their fluff.
